The Ford Maverick goes into 2027 flying solo with its now even more famous name, and as the only vehicle left in its segment. The only other compact truck was the Hyundai Santa Cruz, but production ends for that compact truck in 2026. This makes the Maverick the last pickup standing come 2027.
